SkyCan Systems appoints Sachin Aggarwal as Chief Executive Officer

SkyCan Systems Inc., a Canadian defence technology company, today announced the appointment of Sachin Aggarwal as Chief Executive Officer.
An entrepreneur, investor, lawyer, and former public-policy executive, Aggarwal brings extensive experience building technology businesses, raising capital, leading acquisitions, and working at the intersection of industry and government to support the Canadian development, ownership, and scaling of strategically important technologies. At SkyCan, he will lead the company’s growth, strategic partnerships, and development of Canadian manufacturing capacity to serve Canadian and allied defence requirements.
Aggarwal previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Think Research Corporation, where he led the company through its public listing and expansion into an international healthcare technology platform serving clinicians and healthcare organizations across North America and Europe. He built and integrated a portfolio spanning clinical software, healthcare services, data infrastructure, and medical education through acquisitions and business growth.
Earlier in his career, Aggarwal practised law at Torys LLP and served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Canada’s then-Leader of the Official Opposition. He serves on the board of the Council of Canadian Innovators and is a Fellow at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy.
